In line with Padmashri Late Areez Khambatta’s vision to enhance healthcare in every possible way, the Areez Khambatta Benevolent Trust partnered with Charutar Arogya Mandal in Karamsad, Anand, Gujarat, to identify critical needs, especially for newborns. Acknowledging the shortage of vital medical equipment, the Trust took the initiative to support the creation of a pediatric ward, addressing these gaps and improving care for the youngest patients.
Charutar Arogya Mandal has a long-standing tradition of offering modern medical care to underserved communities, providing treatment without discrimination and upholding high standards of quality. Many patients benefit from partial or full waivers of treatment costs due to financial difficulties. The Areez Khambatta Benevolent Trust recognized the need for specialized medical equipment and contributed to the hospital’s mission by donating ventilators and an aEEG machine to the Pediatric/Neonatal Ward. This support enables Charutar Arogya Mandal to provide treatments that were previously unavailable.
